This spark plug features a triple gasket sealing process that eliminates fuel leakage. It also includes a solid copper core that provides superior heat dissipation and conductivity. This spark plug has resistor that is produced with a glass and carbon mixture, which is fired to ensure superior performance and durability. It has corrugated ribs that prevent flashover and cold rolled threads to inhibit damage to the cylinder head.

Compared to normal plugs, a 0.5ps (1.4%) improvement is seen in output at 110km/h.Improved Acceleration Increased response and acceleration performance.IRIDIUM POWER best demonstrates its performance improvement during acceleration.IRIDIUM POWER has a 0.4 mm diameter iridium center electrode and a specially shaped ground electrode. These features combine to achieve higher ignitability and require lower spark voltage than ever before. There are many HT lead sets on the market that are both cheaper,a nd more expensive but unfortunately we remove and throw lots of them away in our workshop on an almost weekly basis and have been doing so since we started tuning these RS's years ago as they do not have the interference suppression qualities that are required to ensure the poor quality 80's Ford wiring looms do not induce interference from them.The fact some of these cheaper leads have well known household names makes no difference, many of them are designed for modern cars with great interference suppression built into the looms and components.
