We recommend servicing your valve every 3 years, or 20,000 miles, whichever comes soonerA blow off or recirculation valve (be it piston, diaphragm or OEM) will be activated by vacuum or electricity, and is designed to improve the drivability of your vehicle giving you maximum power when you want it. All types rely on an internal spring in order to maintain a seal so that you have boost pressure when it is needed - If the spring is too weak, you lose power.Previously, when an engine was "chipped" or the boost pressure increased, the tuner would need to fit a stronger spring, carefully matched to the increased boost. More recently, with the introduction of electric valves, a tuner would fit an aftermarket replacement valve driven by pressure with an uprated spring. All these remedies rely on the careful matching of the spring rate to the turbocharger boost. This would need to be done each time there was a software, and in some cases hardware change.For those running switchable software programs, there was no perfect solution and a compromise spring was normally installed, which would often not perform correctly.Forge are pleased to offer a fit and forget solution. No more changing springs, turning adjusters, or fine tuning. This innovation works straight out the box and will work perfectly on a standard engine, a highly tuned engine, and anywhere in between, without the need to change anything! While a catch can placed on the crankcase vent system on the left side of the engine will yield very little accumulation on stock or lightly modified vehicles. Having only one catch can, tied into the PCV system, will work the best for the vast majority of Ford Focus STs on the road. The Mishimoto Focus ST catch can kit uses the Mishimoto 2-Port Compact Baffled Oil Catch Can with a bronze filter, and internal baffle to better separate the oil from the crankcase vapors. The kit comes with two direct-fit silicone hoses that connect the catch can with the crankcase and intake manifold. This kit also includes one application specific mounting bracket that not only is extremely easy to install but also mounts the can in a serviceable location, right next to the engines oil drain plug! Two plastic, 9.5mm barb fittings connect the hoses to the can. Like all of our products, this baffled catch can kit comes with the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty!

It eliminates all the restrictions created by the standard boost pipes whilst offering added strength and reliability to higher boost applications. We supply a full kit replacing the restrictive steel 50mm link pipe with a lightweight alloy pipe with 63mm bore. The intercooler to throttle body pipe is also replaced with a free flowing pipe, eliminating the restriction of the OEM set up. Easy fitment with no modifications required. Designed to fit the original Ford Intercooler or our own alloy front mount intercooler.
