The individual pins come supplied in a reusable twist tube and the 4-piece workshop kit is supplied with a steel storage case for pride of place in your toolbox.Simply thread the appropriate pin size into one of the bolt holes on the wheel hub. Powerflex Engine Mount - PFF5-4650

Tuneable engine mounts to suit your driving demands. This mount fits 6-cyl models only except the E46 Xi and Convertible models, and for the E9* it fits the M3 only. It will not fit the 4-cyl petrol engine for any models. We do not recommend fitting these mounts to diesel-engined vehicles due to excessive NVH. The Graph is showing Load against Movement, the peaks are at 5mm. PFF5-4650 is just under 200% stiffer at 5mm compression,with the 4 adjuster pins installed just under 300% over standard.

Whether it's for restoration or general repair needs, replacement OE rubber suspension components are expensive and increasingly hard to come by. Made from natural rubber, the original mounts are susceptible to ageing and premature breakdown from oil and other contaminants, causing excessive engine movement, vague throttle response & imprecise gear shifting. PFF12-1220 is a direct replacement for your worn/damaged engine mounts but uses our signature Classic Grey 70A Durometer Polyurethane formula to restore the function of the original mount, without transmitting additional NVH whilst outlasting the original rubber. Please note, the OE mount will require dismantling to fit our bush.

Mount rigidity is increased by 100%. A small increase inNVH, usually at idle, should be expected when stiffening the connecting mount between the engine/transmission and chassis. The harder the material used, the greater the NVH transmitted.

Made in our Yellow 70A durometer material, they are designed to fit the voiding of the OE mounts snuggly to restrict engine movement with a minimal increase in NVH, perfect for those with tuned road cars. Their design and flexibility also mean they can be fitted to the vehicle without removing the engine mounts themselves. Reducing engine/transmission movement by way of upgraded inserts has the following benefits: - Sharper throttle response - Improved gear shifting - More direct power transfer - More balanced on/off throttle handling - Prolonged life of the OE mounts. A small increase in NVH, usually at idle, should be expected when stiffening the connecting mount between the engine and chassis. The harder the material used, the greater the NVH transmitted.
