This will fit the Seat Ibiza IV 6J 1.0TSI 70KW.See compatible vehicles for list of vehicles this product fits. As the engine does not have a diverter valve fitted as standard, Forge Motorsport have developed a twin piston dump valve that not only gives you an incredibly loud sound when lifting off the throttle but it also increases the throttle response during gear changes by reducing turbo lag, it is designed to help the turbocharger maintain its rotational speed ready for when you accelerate.Please select the valve and hose colours using the options above.Due to the exposed position of the OEM boost pipe and the nature of an engines heat cycle the plastic the OEM pipe is made from can deteriorate over time becoming brittle and susceptible to boost leaks. This kit totally replaces this plastic pipe from turbo to manifold with a silicon hose (available in a choice of colours), and everything else you need to install the valve is included in the kit together with full instructions.Anodised CNC machined billet couplers and components along with a tuneable CNC machined twin piston Forge Motorsport valve.Custom colours are available but will incur a 50% none refundable deposit and a lead time of 8-10 weeks.Unlike other valves on the market the Forge valve will not bring on any check engine lights. Forge 34mm Split Recirculation and Blow Off Valve

This means you get all the noise of the blow off valve whilst retaining the compatibility with the recirculation requirements of the engine management system. As a bonus we also offer the ability to convert the valve to recirculation only mode for those times when stealth running is required.This valve uses a Brass piston which utilises new sealing technology along with a variable spring preload incorporating a ratchet type top adjuster that will allow for the positive and precise adjustment to match the valve to your engine. This is achieved by using a unique single, conical, progressive rate spring that can allow for the retention of boost pressure over a wide adjustment range. This unique spring design also allows for unrestricted piston travel and flow volume regardless of the amount of pre-load adjustment added to the spring. Other manufacturers valves using cylindrical springs with adjustable pre-load often experience restricted piston travel and a reduction in flow volume.This valve has 34mm pipe connections. The problem is that diaphragm retaining ring is made from very thin plastic that goes brittle with heat cycles, and eventually fails.Unfortunately the failure doesn’t always result in a check engine light as the valve can still be blown open by the boost pressure, so you may not be aware that you are losing power due to this. This product is recommended for both unmodified vehicles and any vehicle where the boost pressure has been increased by an ECU software upgrade, as a replacement to the OEM bypass valve. Unfortunately the standard valve fails when the plastic deteriorates with age normally resulting in a check engine light. Unfortunately the valve may still partially function, so you may not be aware that you are losing power due to this. This particular failure can also result in the valve falling apart upon removal from the turbo, and in extreme cases, bits of plastic entering the turbo, resulting in serious damage.Our alternative is a fully engineered solution offering significantly improved reliability. Your Fiat 500 is equipped with an electronic solenoid driven valve from the factory, which is integrated into the functions of the ECU, and unplugging or removing the valve will result in a check engine light on the dashboard.The Forge solution is to retain the solenoid operation, but to use it to divert vacuum and boost pressure to the valve, to make it into a more traditional valve driven by air pressure. This product is either recommended where the boost pressure has been increased by an ECU software upgrade, for those wanting a loud blow off sound, or simply as a solution to the many failures that have occurred.The most common complaint on the OEM solenoid valve is a split diaphragm preventing the valve from opening fully, or not at all. This doesn’t always result in a check engine light as the valve can still be blown open by the boost pressure. We have seen many valves with this problem. The other problem is that diaphragm retaining ring is made from very thin plastic that goes brittle with heat cycles and oil contamination, and eventually fails. This prevents the diaphragm from sealing with the same problems as mentioned above. This particular failure also results in the valve falling apart upon removal from the turbo, though in extreme cases bits of plastic can enter the turbo and destroy it.
